A dying cow expresses gratitude to the man who promised to care for her baby
A dying mother is grateful to someone she can entrust her children to after she dies. We rarely come across someone worthy of our trust, and when we are assured, we are at ease. It is actually up to us as individuals if we make ourselves trustworthy.
The same is true for animals that know who they can trust. Their behavior toward us serves as a guide for how we should respond to them. Freser, a mother cow, has just given birth to her first and last baby calf, and she is grateful to Ismael for assisting her during the birth process.

Freser had difficulty giving birth due to her unstable health conditions. Ismael reassured Freser and tried to make her feel at ease throughout the process. Freser expresses her gratitude by kissing him.
Freser began to cry after the birthing process was completed. Yes, believe it or not, the mother cow kept crying, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her health was in no way improving at the time. Freser’s health had deteriorated significantly after the birth of her daughter, Savi.

She was unable to stand after giving birth. The doctor could not find any bleeding even during the birth process. He noticed Freser was having difficulty during the procedure, so he had to reach into her uterus to extract the calf, despite the fact that there was no bleeding. Freser began to cry, as if she sensed something was wrong.
Freser kept kissing Ismael after the baby arrived and was safe, as if she was expressing her gratitude. “I trust you to take good care of my daughter!” This would be her last “goodbye.” She was transferred to another location, leaving behind her daughter, Savi, and Ismael.

Ismael assured Freser that little Savi would be well cared for. Freser died the next day after giving birth. She was content. Ismael kept his promise to Freser from then on. Ismael now looks after Savi and the other cows and bulls at Fundacion Santuario Gaia (Gaia Sanctuary Foundation). You can see Freser, her daughter Savi, and Ismael in the video below.
